- What is the HLN Format?
- The Heart Link Women's Networking meeting begins with a light meal and socializing. This part of the event is where the bonding process begins. After the meal, women attendees receive 3 minutes to showcase their businesses, products or services and distribute literature. After the formal networking many women gather to connect, make appointments, learn about each other and share more deeply.
- Should I attend alone or with a friend?
- Always invite a friend. You are going to have the time of your life meeting extraordinary women. Therefore reserve a spot for both you and a friend. You are going to want to share this great experience with another women professional you know. Come linked.
- Is there a high upfront membership fee for me to be able to attend Heart Link Women Networking events?
- No, there is no upfront membership fee. It only costs $25 to attend an event, and receive a 3 minute showcase. If you register a new guest to come with you, our come linked program allows you and your guest to attend for a total of $40. BUT there are many ways to save $5 off the attendance fee. See next question.
- Do you offer incentives for attendees who pre-pay to secure their company spots?

Absolutely. We offer amazing pre-pay attendee specials.
1. Pay for one month in advance. Any attendee who pays one month in advance receives a $5 discount and only pays $20.
2. Pay for 6 months of meetings: cost is just $120 and you will receive a Premium listing on the TROVA Business Directories worth $180.
3. Pay for 12 months of meetings: cost is just $240 and you will receive over $1,500 in benefits and online advertising for FREE, including a Platinum mini-website listing on the TROVA Business Directories.
4. Bring an Honoree as your guest and both of you can attend for $30 instead of $50.
5. Bring a guest and both of you can attend for $40.

- Is being a Chapter Leader a paid position?
- No and Yes. Each Heart Link Women's Networking Area Coordinator is a giver by nature. It takes a special personality to love and support women in this wonderful way. Although our leaders collect the attendance fees, those funds go to pay for the expenses involved in maintaining their chapter. However, we give our leaders many exciting and wonderful advertising and marketing benefits, along with excellent training to aid them in becoming extraordinary networkers, and stand out leaders in their community.
- What is the appropriate attire for the event and what type of food do you serve?
- Many women come to the event from work so attire varies from business casual to comfortable. You will have your own bottle of water; a light meal is served - oftentimes a salad with everything on the side, and dessert.
- What is "Monthly HONOREE Appreciation"?
- The Heart Link Women's Network is unique in that it is the only networking organization that HONORS women professionals who are not usually invited to professional networking events, Each month The Heart Link Women's Network chooses women of various professions and groups to appreciate from the community. For example: Teachers, Nurses, New Moms, Non-Profit employees, Administrative Assistants, Dental professionals, Military and Fire and Police professionals or their spouses, etc. Be sure to check what HONOREES are being celebrated each month so that you can "come linked" with one of these amazing women so they can be loved and appreciated for all they do in the community.
- Are there speakers at the networking events?
- There are no speakers at our Heart Link Networking events because our goal is to showcase you and the other attendees for 3 full minutes instead of showcasing a speaker. Some HLN leaders choose to have "special" additional gatherings for education, fun, vendor fairs etc., but at the Heart Link Networking events, YOU are the star.
- Can I have more than 3 minutes?
- If you want women to stop listening and paying careful attention to you, you can attempt to steal an extra minute or two, but beware, this will not help you grow your business or make trusted alliances. The Heart Link Network was created on mountains of research on the way women communicate. Three minutes is the perfect amount of time to connect, begin the bonding process and remain fresh in other's minds. Women will respect other attendees who are careful to use their 3 minutes wisely and well. To share in more depth, you may stay after the official meeting ends, or make sure to follow up and connect with the women you meet at the event, BUT do not go over your three minutes.
- Will I be the only women in my industry?
- Many of our locations are "COMPANY" exclusive instead of industry exclusive. Because there are health and wellness chocolates, coffees, juices, pills, shakes, etc., we choose to allow companies to showcase "special" areas or products their companies produce. If I am with Waiora, I have Natural Cellular Defense and healthy chocolate and other supplements. If I am with Isagenix I have cellular cleansing products and IsaDelights their healthy chocolate, and many other supplements. Does that mean I should not allow Waiora reps and Isagenix reps attend a Heart Link gathering together? Of course not. I ask one what they want to focus on and ask the other to focus on something unique and different. Now these amazing health and wellness women get a chance to fall in love with each other and create a power partnership. The Heart Link Network is not focused on competition. We are about collaboration, cooperation and genuine connection.
If we have jewelry, there are silver companies, costume jewelry, hand-crafted jewelry and gold and gem stones jewelry. Women are more likely to "shop" if there are choices. Even if you are the only jewelry, or health and wellness, or skincare representative that does not, in any way, insure you that the attendees will buy your product. However, if attendees experience your kindness, generosity and support of others, they will definitely be more inspired to become one of your favorite customers.
- Can I skip dinner and pay less?
- No. The eating and sharing of food is the beginning of the bonding process. It is where all great connection begins. If you show up just to do your "commercial" women are not going to trust you. The Heart Link Network was designed according to human bonding and connection processes. Trust the process. It works.
- What if I pay and discover I can't attend at the last minute? Can I get a refund?
- No. But you can ask your leader or a friend, or someone in your company to attend and share your commercial for you. The leaders have excluded other women to reserve your spot, therefore, if you cannot come at the last minute, you will be on the roster, you will also receive a copy of the roster and you may follow up on the ladies you did not get a chance to meet. With enough notice, and a legitimate emergency some leaders may choose to allow you to attend the next event at a discounted price of $10.
- Why does it cost $25 to attend?
- Great question. We realize that $25 is such a small investment for such a valuable advertising opportunity. Mail coupons that everyone throws away cost hundreds of dollars. Chamber memberships are very expensive. Newspaper and magazine advertising can cost thousands of dollars. Television can cost millions of dollars. At the Heart Link Network you can advertise your products, services and yourself to your target market, have a wonderful light meal, meet extraordinary women, have a fabulous time and it is only $25. Yep, you are right, why does it only cost $25?
- How do I make a reservation?

Contact your Chapter Coordinator to make sure your company spot is still available. If your spot is available you can pay your chapter leader directly. Find out your leaders preferred method of paying to reserve your spot. Please remember, most events are company exclusive, which means only one person may represent each company so spaces fill up quickly! Your payment IS your reservation.

- I was a theatre major and psychology minor in college. I've worked as an office manager, purchasing agent, hazardous materials coordinator and commercial mortgage supervisor in my corporate world days. I studied to become a paralegal, graduating #1 in my program and am a certified Chios Master Teacher as well as a Certified Hypnotherapist.

My bio:
I was widowed at the age of 42. My husband passed suddenly and unexpectedly. We were married for 17 years and together for 20 years. We had 3 daughters for whom I was now solely responsible. I felt victimized, cheated, powerless, overwhelmed, stressed-out, under-qualified, angry, lost, unlovable, and had no sense of who I was anymore. I was so defined as part of a couple, who was I now that I was alone?
So here I was, suddenly a single parent, with no income and all I could think about was when would I awaken from this nightmare?
My husband's passing sent me on a quest for answers. I needed to know what the point to all of this was and I knew that I wanted to have a life but had no clue how to do it. I wanted to know that he was alright and yet I was so angry with him for leaving me. While I believed in God, I no longer felt an affiliation with any organized religion and to say I had issues with God at that point is an understatement.
My quest for information and support led me to various courses of study. I learned about Mediumship, Energy Healing, and Hypnotherapy and became ordained in the process. I was also exposed to an amazing concept: We create our own reality. In hearing that I became intrigued. There was a sense of magic about it. As I learned more about the laws of the Universe, particularly the Law of Attraction, I discovered a resonance with it that I had never felt about anything else prior.
It was at this point that I discovered coaching and knew I had found my calling. In discovering my own Inner Goddess after my husband's passing, I knew I had to help other women discover theirs as well! To me, it's a moral imperative. We are so bogged down with the seriousness of life that we've forgotten what it's like to just have fun. We carry with us so much emotional baggage that we either haven't released or think we have but have underestimated the hold that baggage has over us. We've forgotten our own uniqueness and magnificence. We've forgotten just how powerful we truly are! And THAT is what I am passionate about coaching you to remember, that each and every one of you has the power to create worlds at your fingertips. We all create our reality, whether we know it or not. It's just that most of us create by default rather than at a conscious, deliberate level.
My mission is to help you to get to a place of peace with where you are and the emotional wounds you carry, remember the magic of life, the powerful creator you truly are and that life is meant to be fun!
